Company Profile

Minster Property Management handles the management of purpose built blocks of flats and houses, converted properties, residential estates, commercial units and a balancing pond on a residential estate. A number of these properties are used for holiday and shorthold letting and we are well used to dealing with owners who live elsewhere, tenants and letting agents.

We offer an individual service which is tailored to different types of properties and the needs of leaseholders. Where appropriate, we consult with all parties and our company policy is to be as open and fair as possible. We work in partnership with property owners and make every effort to provide them with clear understandable information. Although we take our instructions from the landlord or the directors of the management company, we always endeavour to establish a good relationship with individual property owners in order to be aware of their wishes and aspirations.

Our staff -

Peter May BSc FRICS MIRPM – Principal

Peter is a Chartered Surveyor based in Wimborne since 1988.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Institute of Residential Property Management.  The practice of Peter G May undertakes residential valuations, Homebuyers & building surveys, schedules of dilapidations, rent reviews and lease renewals on commercial properties.  As part of the practice, a specialist Professional Management Practice was established in 1999. 

Matthew May AIRPM - Property Manager

Matthew joined the company in September 2010.  He has an HNC in Building Surveying and is an Associated Member of the Institute of Residential Property Management.   Matthew regularly inspects the managed properties, oversees Health & Safety matters, instructs works and investigates reported defects.. 

Steph Moore - Property Manager



Steph joined the company in April 2021 and works full time as a Property Manager.  Steph deals with general property management administration, leaseholder enquiries, budget preparation, legal enquiries and Annual General Meetings.  Steph has completed her Level 2 Course and Exam in Leasehold Management 2022 and is now finalising her Associate of the Institute of Residential Property Management by completing her Level 3 Course and Exam in Leasehold Management.

Jackie Ginger - Property Management Administrator

Jackie joined the company in June 2013, she carries out management administration in the office, including organising all forms of insurance and instructing contractors.  She can also help with general enquiries regarding service charges, pre sale enquiries and the transfer of properties.

Michelle East - Administrator

Michelle joined Minster Property Management in March 2020 as an administrator, carrying out management administration, facilitating & managing compliance to include, Fire & Development Risk Assessments, Lifts, EICR & PAT testing. Michelle has over thirty years of administration & marketing experience.

Victoria Woolhouse Jones - Administrator

Victoria joined the company in May 2023 and works within the administration team, you’ll find her your first point of contact when calling Minster Property Management . She also deals with servicing of the Fire Alarms, Gates, Pumps and many more aspects of maintaining our Properties that we manage. Victoria has over 25 years of customer service and administration experience and will always take time to assist and transfer your enquiries to the correct person within our experienced team here.

Sharmaine Street

Sharmaine re-joined the company in September 2023, Sharmaine works on a part time basis and has worked within the property management industry for eight years.  She has joined us now as a property consultant managing a portfolio of blocks dealing with any accounting or legal enquiries. 

 

Rhona Trimby - Secretary

Rhona joined the company in August 2009 and initially carried out administration and secretarial duties for both Peter and Minster.  Since March 2014 she has predominantly been Peter’s secretary which includes typing survey and valuation reports, raising invoices, dealing with telephone and email enquiries as well as organising Peter’s appointments.  She also continues to provide admin support to Minster when required.  She has been with the company now for 14 years, prior to which she worked for surveyors/valuers for over 14 years.

Sue Palmer - Finance Assistant

Sue joined the company in 2007 and carries out all general bookkeeping duties, including paying contractors, monthly bank reconciliations and handling payment of service charges. She works closely with the external accountant.

Simone Longworth

Simone joined the company in 2024 and carries out all general bookkeeping duties, including paying contractors, monthly bank reconciliations, handling payment of service charges and arrears.
